--- The reason I wanted the app in the first place was because of its ability to open up flash sites while on my ipod. Most ipod browsers are not able to open flash applications. So I loaded it and used it to test the flash components on my new chat page. ( see the link in the right side panel of this page.)...and it did! I was so happy. Now I could access my own irc chat room, on my ipod, while on the go, and 'through my own page'. Also allowing my guests to access my room and the room I once ran, and where I was banned. This ability would have benefited myself, my guests and also cc.net. Guests could go to both rooms and another network too, while on one page. A great thing for mobile and ipod users
When I tested this out, the chat applet opened perfectly and there I was sitting in my room and the room where I was banned. It shocked me at first, but hey! it worked so I thought no big deal. However, I was immediately banned out of cc.net's christian chat room, but I didn't care. I was testing the ipod applet for my own room access and not to get in cc.net.
Well they must of assumed I was ban evading, which I can understand. They can't see my motive. They only saw me join, but here is the salt in my wound. After that kick from the room, ...about 12 hours later, a junior moderator in cc.net went to the network ircops and got me perm banned from the network for attempting to evade a ban. Why?.... I have my suspicions. This junior mod never acts alone, and the one in power is always the responsible party in what his moderators do. I suspect It's all about playing the power game. The " We're gonna show you who's in control now and we wont put up with the likes of you" game.
This power and control attitude is an example of what I spoke of in a former post. ( see post list ). The lack of love, grace, and mercy in irc chat rooms is just proof to me of how ungodly and un-called of God, chat rooms really can be. Hate is a horrible thing, and believe me as I say this....I struggle over wanting to see loving change there and wanting justice. My heart wants change. It wants to see grace win out, and reconciliation and truth but my flesh wants God to smite them and remove them. It's a horrible battle of spirit and flesh.
I understand that the network has its rules. it's not the network that upsets me. It's the fact that the Christianchat.net chat room overseer and his mod will play the hypocrite by knowingly allowing someone else to break the very network rule of no evasion; for months on end, while trying to get Ipocalypse network to enforce their rule on people (me) who they want to punish and hurt. Hypocrisy and favoritism which God speaks against, is in the heart of that overseer, and the one he sends out to do his dirty work, is being used by him. There is no integrity in that kind of manipulation and control. Their wavering standards shows that their running of the chat room is not about serving others but being served. There is a fear at the very heart of this hypocrisy. The person they knew was breaking the no evasion rule for months and months, who they never went to the network about, was not a threat to the overseers influence in the room. But I suspect, The fear of losing influence, and maybe loyalty by some, is the fear that keeps that overseer from removing my perm ban. Why else would he go to a mod in the mod channel and ask for their loyalty just before removing my ban for 20-30 minutes a month ago. Fear I say, Fear that people are more loyal to someone else other than him.
Now true faith, and true leadership, is all about serving and not being served. A true servant does not care who gets the credit as long as the person being served is benefited. True servants will Encouraging others, pray for them, uplifting them, accepting them,....certainly not rejecting them when they fail. It's what Jesus would do. True anointed and called servants are there to nurture and tend the garden of God so it will produce good fruit. Not to pour salt on the soil and trample the plants under-foot like swines trample pearls.
The Word says you will know true believers by their fruit. The fruit is shown in actions, not words. Actions are the heart's fruit. There are a few mods left in that chat room who served under my leadership. They continue to serve as God directed them and they have not taken part in this harassment of me. But what i don't understand and will never understand. ( It boggles my mind).. Why do they stand by and do nothing? Why do they submit themselves under that overseer when that overseer is not baring godly fruit of the Spirit of God. Can't they see ?? is it so difficult to see?
They tell me privately they know its bad and they have tried to speak to the overseer, but he wont listen and they are not involved, nor do they want to be any longer. They seem to consider themselves independent contractors for God. They don't care what another is doing as long as their own ability to serve goes unhindered.
If we are ONE body and we serve ONE lord, we are to function as a cohesive unit... foot .. arms.. legs... feet... altogether in unity of purpose. How is it that the feet can support the head when the head is looking to do evil against another part of the body and determines that evil right under their noses with selfish and abusive motives? You cannot separate the foot from the head. If the head is leading you wrongly.. You are either going along with it or you need to confront that leader for his unloving, unmerciful and excessive compulsive control. It's really abusive and wrong!
I ask you to come out from it. If this overseer is doing wrong and not showing a true spirit of love, mercy and reconciliation, he believes since you stay, you agree with him. Why do you stay there and support it? If you go to that person and he refuses to hear you, you go and get witnesses and go again.... ( have you done this?) If he still does not hear you.. you take it to the church! ( Have you done this???) There are many of you people who say yes! yes! we see and we disagree, but he still wont listen we've done all we can. Oh really? you mean you cannot walk away? I know you cant put that person out because he is the one in control. But you can leave! You do not have to stay where God is not glorified. And you do not have to support a ministry by standing by watching the abuse continue. There are many options. You can make your own rooms. You can write to the site owner. You can most of all pray as you shut the door and go where God is glorified and Join Him in his work There!
To continue to support that overseer only tells me that those who really leave the 99 and go after the one, like a true shepherd does, are few and far between. Its must be very comforting to hide in the crowd while one of the flock is pushed out... out... and out.... out of sight and out of mind.
Nobody will see, it does not matter, its only chat after all..Oh really??? God sees! and God knows! And God will hold us all accountable.
